Granite Sand

Granite Sand is a granite product that is used in patios, driveways, walkways and fire pits. Rock N Dirt Yard’s granite sand is used mostly by hardscape contractors in leveling and setting pavers and stone. It is used as a decorative topping for driveways and paths. This product is also known as deco granite, decomposed granite, or Tooborac toppings. For best results, this product should be laid to a minimum depth of 50mm, moistened with water and compacted with a roller or vibrating plate compacter. Granite sand is easy to compact, making it ideal for use as a base material under pavers, stones, or bricks. It is also great for filling gaps in patios or walkways, providing a firm and even surface. The fine texture makes it perfect for creating soft yet stable pathways in gardens or parks.
