Moss Rock Boulders come in medium and large sizes. Sandstone from the Texas Hill Country is the natural source of Moss Rock. Moss Rock gets its name from the brownish color of rock that is collected above ground and frequently has mosses growing on its exposed face. Nevertheless, Moss Rock is still frequently called Moss Rock even though it is also mined underground without moss.
Depending on the depth at which they are mined, these rocks can be dark-brown, light-brown, reddish-brown, orangish-brown, or tans. Every Moss Rock has an uneven shape and ranges in thickness and size. Rock N Dirt Yard carries four different sizes of Moss Rock. Bowling ball sized, waterfall, 2 man boulders, and one ton boulders.
